Bison View Lodge Core Values & Mission
CORE VALUE #1: Everyone Has A Tenacious Work Ethic
We desire to hire people who aren’t afraid to do whatever is necessary to get things done. Sometimes that means staying late when there’s something that absolutely has to get done to make sure guest prep is perfect. Sometimes it means helping out and covering for another teammate when they genuinely need the help. If you’re interested in punching a clock and “just” having a job, this position is not for you.
CORE VALUE #2: Everyone Takes Extreme Ownership
When you take all ownership of your actions, you develop trust with team members. Every member of the team needs to operate on the "Keep it Simple" motto. When things go wrong, and they will, complexity can cause issues to spiral out of control, causing chaos, disruption, and flare ups with people. In order to combat this issue, all plans and procedures must be communicated in a manner that is simple, clear, and concise.
CORE VALUE #3: We Train to Win
Perfection IS worth the chase, whether you obtain it or not. The tenacious pursuit makes you better. We want our guests to see incredible execution caused by the pursuit of pushing ourselves to be better every day. Team members show ownership by being willing to step up and train others.
CORE VALUE #4: Everyone is Committed to Personal and Professional Growth
Our company must have people who want to grow and improve. It’s the only way we can accomplish our goals at the highest level. Books, podcasts, seminars, and role specific training are just some of the examples of how we grow in our company.
CORE VALUE #5 Everyone Should Believe that their Work Is Enjoyable & Meaningful
If work feels enjoyable, then you are more likely to be caring, generous, honest, transparent, loyal, protective, and honoring of the work you do. When work is enjoyable, people tend to celebrate the successes and learn valuable lessons from the failures.
